Requirement according to EN60950

Users of KTUS15 family boards should take care when designing chassis interface connectors in order to

fulfill the EN60950 standard:

Lithium Battery precautions:

CAUTION!

Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly

replaced.

Replace only with same or equivalent type

recommended by manufacturer.

Dispose of used batteries according

to the manufacturer’s instructions.

VORSICHT!

Explosionsgefahr bei unsachgemäßem Austausch

der Batterie.

Ersatz nur durch den selben oder einen vom

Hersteller empfohlenen gleichwertigen Typ.

Entsorgung gebrauchter Batterien nach

Angaben des Herstellers.

Lithiumbatteri – Eksplosionsfare ved fejlagtig

håndtering.

Udskiftning må kun ske med batteri

af samme fabrikat og type.

Levér det brugte batteri tilbage til leverandøren.

Benytt samme batteritype eller en tilsvarende

type anbefalt av apparatfabrikanten.

Brukte batterier kasseres i henhold til fabrikantens

To protect the external power lines of the peripheral devices, the customer has to take care about:

That the wires have suitable rating to withstand the maximum available power.

That the enclosure of the peripheral device fulfils the fire protecting requirements of IEC/EN 60950.
