Clearing a Supervisor/User Password
Use the following procedure to clear a Supervisor/User password.
1. Select Change Supervisor/User Password and press <Enter>
A popup display appears requesting entry the new password.
2. Press <Enter> again without making any entries
A popup display appears confirming the deinstallation of the password.
3. Press <Enter>.
User Access Level
This function is used to specify the type of usage restriction(s) that a system supervisor may
impose upon a user for the BIOS Setup program.
Optimal and Fail-Safe default setting: Full Access
Password Check
This function is used to specify the password usage requirements for the user when booting
the system or attempting to start the BIOS Setup program
Optimal and Fail-Safe default setting: Setup
SETTING
DESCRIPTION
No Access
Use this setting to prevent a user from having access to the BIOS Setup program.
View Only
Use this setting to allow a user to only view the BIOS settings.
Limited
Use this setting to allow a user limited access to the BIOS Setup program.
This setting allows only certain setting changes such Date and Time.
Full Access
Use this setting to permit a user to have full access to the BIOS Setup program except tor
changing the Supervisor password.

Always
Use this setting to require the system supervisor or user to enter the appropriate password to
access to the BIOS Setup program or for system booting.
