to load the selected configuration. The display will say
BUSY
. When load is complete,
LOADED
will be displayed momentarily, then display will return to the previous selection.
Important
If
FAILED
is displayed, the configuration file was not loaded. Leave configuration, cycle power, and try
again.
Printing to a Text File an a USB Flash Drive
Demand prints can be sent to a file on a USB flash drive installed in the USB host port.
1. Set the
PORT
setting to
USBMEM
for each of the print formats to be sent to the flash drive.
2. Insert a USB flash drive in the USB host port (J5).
Whenever a print format is called to print, a file will be created on the USB flash drive named PRINT_<UID>.txt,
where UID is the unit ID of the indicator. If the file already exists, the data will be appended to the current file.
If there is an error writing data to the flash drive,
USBERR
will display momentarily each time a print is attempted.
Remove and reinstall the USB flash drive to restore operation.
If a USB flash drive is not installed, nothing will be printed.
