Gently load the index card with the printing side facing up
until it touches the back of the tray.
Make sure that the index card passes beneath the paper limit guides.
CAUTION
When loading index card, take care not to cut your hands with the edges of
the paper.
IMPORTANT
• If the index card is warped, make sure you fix the warp before loading the card.
• Load the index card so that it is straight.
• If the rear edge of the index card is not properly aligned, it may result in misfeeds or
paper jams.
• If the leading edge of the index card is curled or folded at the corners, flatten it out
before loading.
