Important preliminary remarks

Only the knowledge and the exact adherence to these operating
instructions can guarantee correct and professional application,
produce the best possible use and ensure any claims made within
the scope of the Vetter Guarantee.
Each application / operation of the water tank is to be made under
the condition that there is exact knowledge of the product and
that these operating instructions are fully observed.
The operating instructions given here are to be regarded as part
of the product and are to be kept for the complete life duration of
the product. In case the product should be passed on to a succes-
sive user then the operating instructions must also be included.

Description of the product

2.1

Area of application

Extinguishing water, contaminated water, drainage water, rain
water, ground water, industrial water or dirty water must be
quickly and safely collected and temporarily stored in the case of
fire, floods, stormy weather, pipe bursts or accidents. It is for these
purposes that VETTER water tanks are now available.

2.2

Safety instructions

All pertinent state regulations governing work protection and
accident prevention are to be observed as well as the generally
recognized laws in the field of technology. The required work pro-
tective clothing is to be worn at all times during operation.
When permanently or temporarily storing dangerous liquids, the
closed water tank must only be used in connection with a collec-
tion tub for safety reasons. This does not apply to emergencies
involving the fire services.

Preparing the product for use

3.1

Transport and storage

With water tanks fixed to the loading area
of a truck, the manner of driving should
be correspondingly adapted.

Treat the water tanks carefully. Store the tanks where they will not
be subjected to frost and do not place any objects on them.
DIN 7716 must be observed when storing for long periods.
