WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS

Warning-

The high intensity light at the front of the light source

and at the tip of the fiber optic bundle may give rise to high
temperatures. To minimize the risk of injury, avoid contact with
tissue. As with any bright light, do not look into the beam.
Permanent eye injury may result.

To reduce the chance of direct visual exposure to the light, set the
light intensity control to the minimum level and plug the fiber optic
bundle into the light source before turning the power ON.

When the unit is on, never disconnect the fiber optic bundle from
the light source or the accessory from the end of the fiber bundle.
High intensity light from the end of the fiber optic bundle and light
source can ignite flammable materials.

The high intensity light at the front of the light source and at the tip
of the Fiber Optic Bundle may give rise to high temperatures and
bright light. To minimize the risk of injury, avoid direct viewing or
contact. UV is emitted from this lamp. Possible skin or eye irritation
can result from exposures exceeding 15 min./day. Use appropriate
shielding. Do not stare at lamp in operation.

During operation, enclose the lamp in the light source to prevent
injury in the occasional circumstance of the lamp shattering. For
optimum performance, avoid handling the bulb or reflector.
Fingerprints or other contaminates on the glass may result in
performance degradation.

To prevent temporary blinding always plug the fiber optic bundle
into the light source before turning the power ON.

Do not switch the light source ON and OFF in rapid succession.
Doing so will dramatically shorten lamp life. Allow lamp to cool
down 15+ seconds between uses.
