Sehr geehrter Kunde,
wir freuen uns, daß Sie sich entschlossen haben, ein
Stethoskop der Firma Welch Allyn zu erwerben.
Gerätebeschreibung
Duophon
Das Bruststück besteht aus einem Doppelkopf mit Glocke und
Membran. Sie wählen das jeweilige Bruststück indem Sie den
Schlauchansatz mit einer Hand festhalten und das Bruststück
mit der anderen Hand drehen.
Membran
Geeignet für alle Töne und Geräusche, speziell für Herztöne
und Atemgeräusche höherer Frequenz. Außerdem ideal zur
Identifizierung gespaltener Herztöne, systolischer Klicks und
Ejektionsgeräusche.
Glocke
Sorgt für ausgezeichnete Übertragung und Erkennung von
Herztönen und -geräuschen niederer und mittlerer Frequenz
(wie schwache Galopptöne oder diastolisches Rauschen).
Planoscop
Das Bruststück besteht aus einer ultraflachen Membran. Sie
weist die selben Vorteile auf wie die Membran des Duophons.
Einstellen der Ohrbügel
Sie können die Welch Allyn-Stethoskope entsprechend Ihrer
individuellen Anatomie und nach Ihrem persönlichen
Tragekomfort optimal einstellen.
1. Halten Sie zur Winkeleinstellung der Ohrbügel die Feder in einer
Hand und drehen Sie jeden Bügel in die gewünschte Position.
2. Vergewissern Sie sich, daß die Ohrbügel entsprechend dem
Gehörgangsverlauf leicht nach vorne gerichtet sind.
3. Zur Reduzierung des Federdruckes halten Sie jeden Ohrbügel an
seiner Biegung und ziehen Sie die Bügel vorsichtig nach außen.

Pflege und Wartung
Ohrbügel, Oliven (abschraubbar) und Schlauch können mit
Alkohol oder milder Seifenlösung gereinigt wer-den.
Reinigung der Membran: Bei normalem Gebrauch wird es
selten notwendig sein, Membran und Ring für
Reinigungszwecke abnehmen zu müssen. Die
Membranaußenseite kann mit Alkohol oder milder
Seifenlösung abgewischt werden.
Sollte ein Auswechseln der Membran erforderlich werden,
gehen Sie folgendermaßen vor:
1. Entfernen Sie den Metallring am Bruststück
2. Legen Sie die neue Membran auf das Bruststück und drehen Sie
den Ring wieder fest.
Garantie
Für Ihr Duophon / Planoscop Stethoskop gewähren wir eine 1
- Jahresgarantie auf Material- oder Verarbeitungsfehler.
Sollte das Stethoskop defekt sein oder von den
Herstellerspezifikationen abweichen, wird Welch Allyn das
Gerät oder Teile davon kostenlos reparieren oder ersetzen.
Diese Garantie gilt nicht bei Schäden, die durch
unsachgemäße Behandlung, falschen Gebrauch, Unfälle,
Änderungen oder während des Transports verursacht
werden. Der Garantieanspruch erlischt, wenn das Gerät nicht
entsprechend den Herstellerempfehlungen benutzt wird.

Descrizione dello stetoscopio
Duophon
Il Duophon è disponibile sia con padiglione a imbuto che a
diaframma. La scelta del padiglione si esegue tenendo con
una mano il gambo dell’estremità stessa fino a quando non si
sente uno scatto.
Diaframma
Eccellente per l’auscultazione dei toni e dei soffi di ogni
genere. Questo padiglione è particolarmente adatto per i toni
cardiaci di alta frequenza e per i toni polmonari. Ideale anche
per identificare i toni di sdoppiamento, i click sistolici e i click
eiettivi.
Imbuto
Particolarmente adatto per individuare e rendere più chiari i
toni cardiaci di frequenza bassa e media e i soffi cardiaci
(come i toni deboli di galoppo o i rantolii diastolici).
Planoscop
Il diaframma singolo è particolarmente sottile, presenta le
stesse caratteristiche dello stetoscopio Duophon.
Regolazione dell’archetto
biauriculare
Il suo stetoscopio della Welch Allyn è concepito con criteri di
massima regolabilità per consentirne un uso confortevole e un
adeguato adattamento all’orecchio.
1. Per regolare l’angolo dell’archetto biauricolare, tenere con una
mano la molla e ruotare ciascuno dei due bracci dell’archetto
secondo l’angolazione desiderata.
2. Assicurarsi che i bracci dell’archetto biauricolare siano diretti
leggermente in avanti a livello dell’ingresso nel canale
auricolare.
3. Per ridurre la tensione della molla, afferrare ciascuno dei due
bracci dell’archetto a livello della rispettiva curva e tirare
leggermente verso l’esterno.

Pulizia e manutenzione
L’archetto biauricolare, i tubi e le testine auricolari (sostituibili)
possono essere puliti con alcool o acqua leggermente
saponata.
Diaframma: in normali condizioni d’uso, non dovrebbe essere
necessario rimuovere il diaframma del padiglione per motivi di
pulizia. La superficie esterna può essere pulita con alcool o
acqua leggermente saponata.
Tuttavia, nel caso si renda necessario smontare il diaframma,
procedere nel modo seguente:
1. Togliere il anello del diaframma.
2. Allineare il diaframma sul padiglione e avvitare l’anello.

uno sul materiale e difetti di fabbricazione. Qualora venissero
individuati difetti, Welch Allyn provvederà gratuitamente ad

Thank you for purchasing the Welch Allyn Stethoscope
Duophon or Planoscop. Please follow the operating and
maintenance instructions below.
Unit description
Duophon
The chestpiece is made of a diaphragm and a bell which you
select by holding the chestpiece stem in one hand and
rotating it with the other hand until a click is heard.
Diaphragm
Excellent for all sounds and murmurs. Best for higher
frequency heart and lung sounds. Also ideal for identifying
split sounds, systolic clicks and ejection sounds.
Bell
Provides excellent detection and clarity for low and medium
frequency heart sounds and murmurs (such as a fiant gallop
or diastoic rumble).
Planoscop
The chestpiece consists of an ultra-slim diaphragm which
shows the same features as the diaphragm of the Duophon.
Headset Adjustment
Your Welch Allyn stethoscopes are designed to give you the
maximum ability to adjust to your personal comfort and
acoustic fit.
1. To adjust the angle of the binaurals, hold the spring in one hand
and rotate each binaural to the correct angle.
2. Make sure that the binaural tubes are pointed slightly forward
going into the ear canal.
3. To reduce spring tension, grasp each eartube at its bend and
gently pull outwards.

Care and Maintenance
Binaurals, tubing and eartips (removable) can be wiped down
with alcohol or mild soapy water.
Diaphragm: Under normal use you should rarely need to
remove the rim and diaphragm for cleaning purposes. The
exterior of the diaphragm can be cleaned with alcohol or mild
soapy water.
If you do need to remove the diaphragm, follow the
instructions below:
1. Remove the metal rim of the chestpiece.
2. Put the new diaphragm on the chestpiece and screw the rim up
tightly.
Guarantee
We provide a 1-year guarantee against defects in materials
and workmanship for your Duophon / Planoscop stethoscope.
Should a defect be discovered, Welch Allyn will repair or
replace the product or parts of it at no charge.
This guarantee does not apply in the case of damage caused
by incorrect handling, improper use, accidents, modifications,
or during transportation. This guarantee is void if the unit is
not used in accordance with the manufacturer’s
recommendations.
We reserve the right to make technical and color
modifications.
