Age Ranges

Intended for use on Pediatric and Adult patients only.

Pediatric carrying pouch only intended for ambulatory pediatric patients weighing

40-80lbs.

Battery Info

Lithium Ion battery

Duration:

 ECG only: 25hrs

 ECG & SpO2: 10hrs

Store battery in charger when not in use. Conditions based on:

 fully charged battery operating at 25° C, connected to Acuity

 minimal artifact

 8 patient alarms per hour

Battery reducing factors:

 not connected to Acuity

 alarms and alerts long in duration

 operator key usage (active display)

 battery age

 motion artifact during SpO2 monitoring

Cleaning

Monitor, Battery, & Charger

Wipe with a nearly-dry cloth moistened with an approved cleaning solution:

 Warm water, liquid soap, Coverage®, Windex®, Ovation®, Hydrogen

peroxide, Wex-cide®©, T.B.Q.®©

After cleaning, remove excess solution with a soft cloth dampened with clean

water, then dry. Do not let solution get into connector openings or crevices. Do
not autoclave or immerse.

Consult manufacturer’s instructions.

Defaults

When the monitor connects to Acuity for a new patient, the Acuity Central Station

downloads the appropriate default setting stored at Acuity to the device.

End Monitoring

Standby/Temporary Disconnect
Remove cables from the top of the device. The monitor will display an

EQUIPMENT

ALERT message. Press the

key to acknowledge the alert and the device will

remain in STANDBY (

BLUE

state at Acuity) until the cables are replaced.

End Tele/Permanent Disconnect
To discontinue use of the monitor on a patient, use the following steps:

1. Press the DOWN

button to display the MAIN MENU (if menu lockout

is enabled, press the SELECT

button at the same time).

2. Continue to press the

button to highlight ACUITY and press the

button.

3. Press

button to highlight END TELE, then press

.

4. When the monitor displays SAFE TO REMOVE BATTERY, remove the

battery to power down the monitor.
