INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Place IR dongle into bracket assembly. Align the dongle feet with corresponding holes in bracket.
2. Tighten clamp screws.
3. Clean side of Spot Vital Signs housing using alcohol wipe.
4. Remove adhesive protective paper from back of bracket
5. Place bracket tab (A) on Spot Vital Signs surface (B) and position the hole (C) in the bracket assembly
over IR window (D) as shown. Press firmly to secure adhesive.
(Note: Max adhesive strength achieved in 24 hours.)
CAUTION: Do not download any drivers during the installation process for this IR RS232 device.
Drivers are not required and will interfere with communication between the device and the
Electronic Medical Record.
