Step 8. Install Searing Plate and
Warming Grid
1. Parts Needed: Searing plate, 2 searing plate tools,
stainless steel warming grid, two warming grid legs
(from parts Carton D).
2. Hold the searing plate with the three slots towards you
and set it into the back of the grill compartment. The
searing plate tools provided can be used to place the
sear plate in the grill. The rear edge of the plate rests
along the rear ledge of the compartment and the front
edge (with slots) rests on top of the previously installed
searing deck. See Figure 14.

3. Insert the free ends of a warming grid leg into one dou-
ble end of the warming grid with the bend of the leg to
the outside. Repeat on the opposite end.

4. Place the assembled warming grid to the rear of the grill
compartment above the searing plate. The legs will rest
on ledges along each side of the grill compartment. See
Figure 15.
Step 9. Install Cooking Grids
1. Parts/Items Needed: Cooking Grids (from parts Carton B).
2. Slide the cooking grids into the grill compartment. The
back edges will rest on the fixed cross member and the
front edges on the front ledge in the compartment. See
Figure 16.
