How the System Works
The PetSafe ® ssscat ™ Spray Deterrent monitors for movement up to 1 metre away. When your pet
is detected, the Spray Deterrent sends a quick, safe spray that startles your pet. Your pet quickly
learns to avoid areas that are off-limits. The spray is odorless and safe; however it is a suffi cient
stimulus to deter pets from jumping on kitchen worktops, digging in rubbish bins or entering
restricted areas. It is effective for both cats and dogs of all sizes and breeds.
Key Defi nitions
Motion Detector Unit: Detects motion of pet and emits spray.
Battery Door: Allows access to the 4 AAA batteries (not included).
Spray Nozzle: Emits the spray. The spray travels approximately 100 centimeters from the unit.
Spray Direction Switch: Adjusts Spray Nozzle angle up or down.
Motion Sensor: Detects motion from the pet - 5 adjustable settings.
ON/OFF Switch: Powers the unit ON ( | ) / OFF (O).
Locking Ring: Locks Motion Detector Unit securely to Spray Can.
Spray Can Connection Point: Connection to Spray Can.
