i Do not attempt to move the mini port replicator when it is connected to the computer.
' Hold down the bottom of the computer when opening the
display. If you open the display without holding down the
bottom of the computer, the computer may be disconnected
from the mini port replicator.

' Set the mini port replicator up on a flat surface. Setting up the mini port replicator on an uneven
surface can result in poor contact.
' Do not use the mini port replicator in a location where it will be subject to vibration, such as
while riding a bike, motorcycle, or car. The computer may disconnect from the mini port replicator
and malfunction as a result.
' If the computer malfunctions while the mini port replicator is attached, refer first to the "Trouble­
shooting" section of the computer's "Operating Instructions". If you still are unable to solve the
problem, power off the computer, disconnect the mini port replicator, connect the AC adapter to
the computer, and check to see if the computer operates normally. If the computer operates
normally when the mini port replicator is not attached, the mini port replicator may be malfunc­
