can (15 oz.) tomato sauce, divided

cup chopped green onions

cup (4 oz.) shredded mozzarella cheese

thin slices boiled ham

tablespoons chopped stuffed green olives

In a medium bowl, combine ground beef, 1 cup tomato sauce,

egg, bread crumbs, onion, celery and pepper; mix well. In a
9 X 5-inch loaf pan, shape half of meat mixture into bottom of
pan. Top with cheese, ham and olives. Spread remaining meat

mixture on top and pour remaining sauce over loaf.

1 can (15 oz.) red kidney beans, drained

1 can (15 oz.) sliced stewed tomatoes

1 teaspoon salt

In a 3-Qt. casserole, crumble ground beef, stir in onions and

garlic. Cover with plastic wrap and cook on PI00 for
6 minutes. Stir once; drain. Add remaining ingredients.

In a 3-Qt. casserole, cook sausage, covered, on PI 00 for 5
minutes. Stir once; drain. Add remaining ingredients.

In a 3-Qt. casserole, combine turnips, green beans,

cup of water, onion, beef, cider, ketchup, salt, bay leaf,

pepper and thyme; mix well. Cook, covered, on INVERTER

beeps, stir. Re-cover and press Start.

In a measuring cup, stir together flour with remaining water.

Stir into stew and re-cover. Cook on PI 00 for 3 to 4 minutes,
or until slightly thickened. Let stand, 5 minutes, before

serving.

11. Vegetable Terrine

cups finely sliced carrots

cup finely sliced zucchini

1

cup broccoli florets

Vz pint heavy whipping cream

egg whites

slices bacon, chopped

12 ounces chicken breast, cubed

In a 2-Qt. casserole dish, cook carrots, covered, on PI 00 for 2

to 3 minutes. Add in zucchini and broccoli, recover, cook on

PI 00 for an additional 2 to 3 minutes. Whip cream until soft

peak forms. Mix together cream, egg whites, bacon and
chicken, until well combined. Spread a third of the chicken
mousse in the base of a 9 x 5-inch loaf pan. Layer with half of

the carrots and zucchini. Spread another layer of the chicken

mousse on top. Layer again using carrots, zucchini and

broccoli. Spread the remaining mousse on top.
