Step 1.
Begin removal of the OEM system by
unclamping the OEM Extension Pipe and muffler from the
junction at the crossmember. You can then disengage the
welded hangers from the rubber insulators, working
rearward finish removing the system. Do not damage or
discard the rubber insulators as they will be re-used to
mount the new system
.
Step 3.
Next Install the Tail Pipe Assembly using the
supplied 4.00" clamp and fit the welded hanger into the
rubber insulator.
Step 2.
Begin by attaching the Muffler Assembly to the
factory outlet and the Over Axle Pipe to the Muffler
Assembly outlet using the supplied 3.50" clamps. Fit the
hangers into the rubber insualtors. Leave all clamps loose
until final adjustment.
Step 4.
Once a final position has been chosen for the
new exhaust system, evenly tighten all clamps from front
to rear using the torque specifications on page one of the
instructions. Inspect all fasteners after 25-50 miles of
operation and re-tighten if necessary.
