Step 1. To Remove the OEM system, you will need
to loosen the clamps at the front and rear of the OEM
muffler, you can then disengage the hangers from the
rubber insulators and remove the system. Do not
damage or discard the OEM gasket, fasteners or
rubber insulators, as they will be reused to mount the
new MAGNAFLOW system.
Step 2. To install your new system first attach the
inlet pipe of the Y-Pipe Assy. Be sure to locate the
indexing notch and loosely secure using the supplied
4.00" clamp.
Step 3. Engage the welded hangers to the OEM
rubber insulators.
Step 4. Install the Tail Pipe Assy using the same
procedure.
Step 5. With all components mounted loosely, adjust
the system for overall aesthetics and clearance of
frame and bodywork. (MAGNAFLOW recommends at
least 1/2" of clearance between the exhaust system
and any body panels to prevent heat related body
damage or fire.)
