Insert the provided triangular key into the manual release of the

safety interlock (through the bore hole) and turn it to the right.

The hood releases after the twist lock on the front side of the

hood is opened.

The mill cannot be turned on now. To turn it on, the safety lock

has to be activated by turning the triangular key to the left and the

hood and hood lock must be locked.

2.8 Electrical safety

2.8.1 General information

n

The main switch separates the whole device from the power supply

on all poles.

n

Switch off the main switch if the device will be idle for a longer

period of time (e.g. overnight).

2.8.2 Protection against restart

In case of power failure during operation or after switching off with the

main switch, the hood is locked. The hood lock is opened when power

returns. For safety reasons, however, the mill does not restart.

2.8.3 Overload protection

In the event of an overload, the device reduces the speed in a controlled

manner. If the main disc is overloaded error code 7 or 8 flashes in the

display. The device switches off if the drive motor becomes too hot. The

device switches off if the drive is blocked. (See Ä Chapter 10 ‘Repairs’

on page 47)
