Workaround: The error message is incorrect and can simply be ignored. Click the Ignore button

and the release script will successfully install and register the release script.

If you click the Abort button, the installation will end. If you click the Retry button, you will

receive the error message again.

Problems When Uninstalling the Release Script

If you click the Cancel button while you are uninstalling the release script, all the release script

original files will remain properly installed on the system. However, depending on the point

during the uninstallation that the Cancel button is clicked, the release script may be un-registered.

In such a case, once you attempt to log on to the release script, login will fail. (SPR 31221)

Workaround: If this problem occurs, run Repair.

Refer to Repairing the Release Script on page 13 for more information. Alternatively, you can re-

register the release script in the Release Script Manager.

SMALLINT Data Type Limitation

The Kofax Capture SMALLINT data type cannot be linked to a FileNet Image Services numeric

data type. If an Kofax Capture SMALLINT data type is linked to the FileNet Image Services

numeric field on the Document Settings tab, release setup will prompt the user with the following

error message. (SPR 25866)

Error Description: The following field types do not match:

SmallInt_5-Small Integer

Document Attribute Field Length Limitation

Release will fail without any errors if more than 164-characters are used for any document

attribute field. This is a limitation of the FileNet Image Services API. (FileNet Incident 10096459;

Kofax SPR 25869)

Upper ASCII Character Limitations When Creating Folders
