3. Getting Started
After starting TCDialer you see an icon in the system tray of the task bar.
Note: To start TCDialer, click Start, point to Programs, point to Kofax Communication Server, and then
click TCDialer.
You start TCDialer by double-clicking the telephone symbol in the system tray or by right clicking the
telephone symbol in the system tray and by selecting Open in the context menu. You will get the following
dialog, where you can specify your own number and the number that you want to call.
Note: The administrator can configure TCDialer that the own extension number is read only. In that case
you can only select your extension number from the drop down list.
