Why do I get the following error when I send documents to a destination:

Content Engine COM API error. Access is denied. [Code=80070005] ... Object

Reference [OBJECT_STORE:4] ID "HR" in ObjectStore "HR"; OMFC/Library/

CreateDocument/Server.Unknown.80070005

Make sure that you have set up user accounts correctly and assigned the proper permissions.

In the Security tab for the object store, document class, and folder, make sure that you have set

Type to Allow.

Kofax Front-Office Server Web Client does not show the changes I made in FileNet Enterprise

Manager, what should I do?

In Kofax Front-Office Server Web Client, right-click FileNet and select Refresh. If this does not

update the information, restart the following services:

„

Apache2

„

Content Engine Content Cache Service

„

Content Engine File Store Service

„

Content Engine Object Store Service

Refer to the FileNet documentation for instructions.

Why am I unable to send documents to FileNet from global shortcuts on the MFP?

Make sure that you have established credentials for a FileNet user in Kofax Front-Office

Server Administration Console.

Refer to Setting Up User Accounts on page 6.

How do users verify that the documents are being sent to a destination?

Use FileNet Enterprise Manager to view the documents that were sent.

I sent documents to FileNet, but they are empty document objects with no page images and an

error is generated. What happened?

Make sure that the Content Engine File Store Service is running whenever you send

documents from Kofax Front-Office Server.
