unique SD ID which corresponds to a unique License
for the utilization of software and maps.
So in case the SD has been damaged, please contact
AvMap customer support to restore the content and
get again the license, or to send the SD back for
reparation

6.11

When I switch on the navigator, the

navigation function button (with the blue world)

in the main menu does not light on, and stays
grey.

Check whether the SD is correctly inserted in its
slot. Remember that only AvMap SD memory cards
are compatible with AvMap navigators. No other SD
card is compatible.

6.12

The Geosat 6 Update application shows the

message “Missing SD”

a. Make sure that the Geosat 6 is correctly connected
to the PC through the USB cable.
b. Make sure that the SD is correctly inserted in the
navigator
c. If the navigator is correctly connected, and the
SD is inserted, then the problem may be caused by a
Windows error. Close the Geosat 6 Update application
and restart it. Open the Geosat 6 Update only AFTER
having connected Geosat 6 to the PC.

6.13

(Only for Bluetooth models) When I try to

connect Geosat 6 to my mobile phone through

Bluetooth®, Geosat 6 does not detect my mobile
phone

Make sure that your mobile phone is equipped with
Bluetooth®, and that it is enabled. Enable it and
try again.
