Recording a tape
You can' necond. tapes from any aource you.have .. . .
connected to your system.__
1 Put a biank.tape in tape well B. ' ...
2 Set the recording level .and necondjng balance (see

3 Select the tape direction ◄.or and immediately ..
press the STOP (■) button.

Press _the ■ button, then stop the source component,
To record again after a mistake
1 Press the ◄◄ or ►► button to rewind .the.tape. The.,
recording stops, the tape rewinds to the beginning of
the. .current track, and the cassette deck stops. " -■ : ^
2 Press the REC/ARN button.twice. A 4 -second blank
space is put on the tape, and the cassette .deck enters'
theRECORDyRAUSEmode. .
3 Press .the REC/ARM button once.
4 Play the source again.
To record tapes so you can search for tracks
If you record blank space of at least 4 seconds between
tracks on .tapes you record, you .can use the DPSS .
feature (see page 39) to look for a.specific..track ..
If you're in the. STOP, mode, press'the REC/ARM button,
twice, ............... .. -. . - . - , -
If you're recording, press the REC/ARM button once.. .
After recording a-4-second blank space, the deck enters
the RECORD/PAUSE mode.; .
