Assembly | Operation | Working positions

Remove the screws 6 (Fig. 7)
Check whether the guide handle 4 works normally (Fig. 7)
Insert the guide handle 4 to the swivel head 2 up to the very end of the groove (four openings
in the guide handle 4 and four openings on the swivel head 2 must be aligned) (Fig. 7)
Screw four screws 6 on the guide handle 4 (Fig. 7)
Check whether the trigger lockout 5 on the guide handle can move in three directions and
whether it can rotate (up, left, right) to open the microswitch (Fig. 7)

Protective Shield Attachment (Fig 8)

Remove the screws 6.
Check whether the protection shield 7 is not damaged.
Insert the protection shield 7 to the swivel head 2 up to the very end of the groove (two
openings in the shield 7 and two openings in the swivel head 2 must be aligned).
Screw two screws 7 on the swivel head 7.

8. OPERATION

(Fig. 6 and 7)

WARNING! Slide the safeguard 8 to the cutter blade 9. First insert the hedge trimmer plug
into the coupling of the extension cable 11, and then plug the extension cable 8 into a mains
socket. Never take hold of the protective shield 10 when connecting the hedge trimmer.
WARNING! Danger of electric shock! To avoid damage to the mains cord 11, the extension
cable 16 must be inserted into the cable support 10. Always insert the extension cable 7 into
the cable support.

Loop the extension cable 11, insert the loop into the cable support 16 and pull tight.
Insert the plug of the mains cord 10 into the socket of the extension cable 11.
Plug the extension cable 11 into a 230 V mains socket.

9. WORKING POSITIONS

The electric hedge trimmer can be used in the following working positions:

Horizontal Trimming (Fig. 9-10)

Hold the handle 3 in one hand and keep pushing the trigger 14. Hold the guide handle 4 in the
other hand and keep pushing the trigger lock on the guide handle 5 (grip the guide handle 4
from side 0, a).
