REAR PANEL DESCRIPTION
1. INPUT GAIN- This control determines the overall input level of the
signal to the power amp section of the TRIMAX cabinet. Adjusting
this level will not affect the level of the signal passing through to the
output connectors.
2. BALANCED ¼” PHONE INPUT- This jack provides an input for
balanced or unbalanced line level signal source.
3. BALANCED XLR INPUT- This female XLR connector provides an
input for balanced line level source.

BALANCED ¼” INPUT- This ¼’ phone provides a balanced loop
through for connecting to additional powered cabinets.
5. BALANCED XLR OUTPUT- This XLR male provides a balanced
loop through for connecting to additional powered cabinets.
6. SUB LEVEL- This control determines the overall input level of the
signal to the power amp section of the subwoofer of the TRIMAX sub
cabinet. This control will allow you to fine-tune the level of the sub
section with respect to the top boxes.
7. TOP BOX CONNECTOR- This Speakon connector provides an
output for the TRIMAX 10 top box with the configuration switch in the
biamped position or with use of another
manufacturer’s top box with
the switch in the full range position. NOTE: See block diagram for pin
configuration.
8. EXTERNAL TOP BOX CONNECTOR- This Speakon connector
provides an additional output for a second TRIMAX 10 top box or full
range cabinet depending on the position of the configuration switch.
This connector is a parallel connection to the other Speakon
connector. NOTE: When using more than one top box of another
manufacturer with the TRIMAX sub, each cabinet should not be less
than 8 ohms.
9. POWER SWITCH- This switch provides power to the TRIMAX
system. Make sure that the input sensitivity control and sub level
control is set to minimum upon power up.
10. POWER INLET MODULE- This module provides a connection for
the power cord and houses the mains fuse. (See Fuse
Replacement Section)
