Battery Removal
I This Philips Norelco Trimmer contains a
rechargeable Nickel-Cadium battery which
must be disposed of properly (fig. 18).
I Batteries should only be removed when
Trimmer is to be discarded.

D Unplug electrical cord from outlet and
Trimmer before dismantling Trimmer.
Q Allow the Trimmer to run until the battery is
empty/depleted.
□ Turn Trimmer OFF.

Remove the 2 side panels with a screwdriver
(fig. 19).
Note:You may use a narrow flat blade screwdriver
B Remove the front panel with a screwdriver
(fig. 20).

Pull out the printed circuit board (fig. 21).

Remove the rechargeable battery using a
screwdriver and detach it by bending
or turning it several times until the
connections break (fig. 22).

Do not attempt to replace battery. Insulate
battery ends by covering with tape and/or
place battery in a small plastic bag.

Discard your Trimmer. Do not attempt to
plug electrical cord into the outlet or
recharge the Trimmer after the battery has
been removed.
