Operating the TV without
remote controi

The following controls are on the TV:

plus A and minus V buttons for

volume and plus A and minus V

buttons for programme number
selection, with which the most
important functions can also be
operated without remote control.

With the SOURCE SELECTION C3-
buttons 1,2,3,4 and TV, you can
select 4 connected sources and normal
TV use, respectively.

Teletext

General description of

Teletext

If Teletext is being broadcast it gives

you a wide variety of information on all

kinds of subjects by headings and
pages.

The remote control has the following
buttons (with symbols in yellow):
H) Teletext on
a Return to TV programme
(Zl Teletext with TV programme

X Interruption of Teletext

-V- Double letter height

Stop changing pages

9 Time code/subcode
? Concealed information
0..9 Page selection buttons
◄: Page numbers run back
=► Page numbers run up

<9* Call up memory
-4> Enter in memory

The functions of the various Teletext
symbols are given later in the text.

After Teletext has been switched on, an
information line appears on the top of
the screen. Depending on your
selection, the following words may be
indicated here:
® = the number of the page which is
on the screen (possibly combined with
time code, subcode or stop changing

pages).

@ = the number of the page coming

onto the screen (possibly combined

with time code or subcode). The colour

is normally green, but once the page
has been found the colour becomes

white and this page number comes into

position at 0 on the information line.

© = the page number which is stored.
