Clipping for a‘Stubble’ Look

► To create a ‘stubble’ look clip with the

small comb in setting 1,then clip with the
stubble comb for a remaining hair length of

.06 in/1.6 mm.

Be certain the Clipper is in the OFF position.

B Slide the small comb into the guiding grooves

on both sides of Clipper and push until you

hear it “click” into place.

B

Press the Hair Length Selector and slide it to

setting 1 (.12 in/3 mm).

Turn Clipper ON and clip hair making

overlapping passes over the head to ensure

all hair has been cut.

B Turn Clipper OFF and remove small comb.

Put the stubble comb on the Clipper.

Turn Clipper ON and clip hair.

Contouring without a comb attachment

Remove the hair comb by pressing and

sliding the Hair Length Selector upwards

(fig-7).

Be careful when you are clipping without comb

attachment as when the Clipper is turned on it

will remove every hair it touches.

To contour the hairline around the ears,

comb the hair ends over the ears.

Tilt the Clipper in such a way that only

one edge of the cutter blades touches the

hair ends when you shape the contours

around the ears (fig. 8).

Only cut the hair ends.The hairline should be
close to the ear.

Q To contour the nape of the neck or

sideburns, turn the Clipper and hold it with

the cutter blades pointing downwards

(fig-9).

Move the Clipper slowly and smoothly

following the natural hairline.
