For m ost hom es this step would

not be needed but for your

inform ation:

U p to 9 different rem ote locator

address codes can be set on w hich the

TV can send out its "hom ing” signal.

This is done in case there is m ore than

one TV (w ith a rem ote locator)

present, and you w ant only one

specific rem ote to be signaled when the

TV is turned O N.*

To set a Locator Address C ode:

With TV turned ON, press the

LOCATOR CODE button on the

remote. (Also be sure the TV
SYSTEM button on the remote has
been pressed.)

You will need a pencil or pen to press
the recessed button.

The TV shows the present Remote
Locator Code.

Press any number button (0-9) on

the remote to set or change the

Locator Code.

Remember, if batteries are

g replaced the Locator Code

will need to be reentered.

When setting the Locator Code if any
button, other than the number buttons,
are pressed the remote will return to

its normal operation mode.

*For owners who live in an apartment
(townhouse or condominium)

complex, this task may be necessary
since the remote locator's signal can
be sent and detected directly through
adjoining walls.
