VacuFlush 4700 series toilets may require a wall-mounted flush switch to control the “Flush” and “Add Water” functions. Follow the instructions below to install the Dometic flush switch
provided for use with your toilet.

1. Select a location for the flush switch. Wiring cable is provided to reach the toilet base. You may

need to supply more wire, depending on how far you locate the flush switch from the toilet.

2. Use the Dometic Toggle-style Flush Switch Template (shown on floor template, last page) to

mark the center of the center access hole and fastener holes.

3. Drill the 1.75-inch (45 mm) center access hole and four fastener holes with a 3/32-inch or

7/64-inch diameter drill bit.

STATUS PANEL INSTALLATION (for models with flush handle

on toilet)

4. Route flush switch cable through wall access

hole to floor access hole at toilet base.

5. Connect flush switch assembly to wiring cable

that is routed to toilet. Insert flush switch
assembly through hole and secure to wall using
four fasteners provided.

5. WITH ELECTRICAL POWER OFF, connect

wiring cable from the flush switch to the five-
conductor connector at the toilet base (shown
at right).

1. Plan flush switch panel location so that wiring cable can reach toilet base connection on circuit board. Be

sure cable cannot get wet.

2. Use Dometic Touchpad Flush Switch/Status Panel Template (included with touchpad) to mark center

access and fastener holes. Drill 1 in. (25 mm) hole, then fasten panel bracket to wall (fig.

1

).

3. Route flush switch cable through wall access hole to floor access hole at toilet base.
4. Attach cable to flush switch panel, then snap the panel cover onto the panel bracket (fig.

1

).

5. WITH ELECTRICAL POWER OFF, connect wiring cable from the flush switch to the RJ45 connector on the

circuit board of the toilet base (fig.

).

1. Plan status panel location so that wiring cable can reach between status panel cable connector and access

hole at toilet base. Be sure cable cannot get wet.

2. Use Dometic Flush Switch/Status Panel Template (included with status panel) to mark center access and

fastener holes. Drill 1 in. (25 mm) hole, then fasten panel bracket to wall (fig.

).

3. Attach 4-wire cable (provided with status panel) to status panel cable connector, then route status panel

cable through wall access hole to floor access hole at toilet base (fig.

2

).

4. Snap the panel cover onto the panel bracket (fig.

1

).

5. WITH ELECTRICAL POWER OFF, connect wiring cable from the status panel to the connector at the

toilet base (fig.

).

To install other popular marine wall switches (Vimar, Gewiss), follow the instructions supplied by the switch manufacturer and the wiring diagram shown on the toilet parts list.
