Introduction
Thank you for purchasing a StarTech.com Converge A/V Mini VGA over Cat5 UTP Extender and
Receiver. Providing a high resolution point to point digital signage solution, the extender sends
the video signal to a remote monitor / display or projector over standard 4 pair CAT5e UTP cable,
using RJ45 connectors and supports transmission distances of up to 90m (275ft).
The ST121UTPMINI is an out-of-box solution that includes both the local transmitter and remote
receiver. The receiver is compact enough to be tucked away behind the display in tight spaces
for any installation.
Features
• Transmits VGA Video and Audio through one Cat5 cable
• Supports resolutions up 1920x1200 at 90m (275ft.)
• Pure hardware design, no software or drivers required
• Transmitter uses a USB port on PC or media player as a power source, meaning less clutter at
your signal source
• Receiver uses a power adapter for signal enhancement and has a built in equalizer for fine
tuning image quality
