INSTALLATION
NOTE: The SQE test function must be disabled if you
are connecting the transceiver to Ethernet Version 1
equipment or to a repeater.
Set the SQE Switch as follows:
• To disable the SQE test function, set the switch
(Fig. 3-1) towards the optical ports to the off (o)
setting.
• To enable the SQE test function, set the switch
(Fig. 3-1) away from the optical ports to the on (

setting on the label.
