Note - For successful communications, the baud rate of the RX 400p MAIN port
must be set to match that of the data logging or monitoring device.
Additionally, you must interface the RX 400p to an RS-232C serial port of the
external device. Refer to Section 4.15.3 for instructions related to setting the RX
400p baud rate.
9.2 RTCM Data Output
To output only RTCM correction data from a correction source:
Choose the desired source of corrections, be it WAAS, OmniSTAR, or beacon
Turn off all NMEA and binary messages in the NMEA Output menu.
Turn RTCM on in the NMEA Output menu
To establish communications between the RX 400p and an external GPS receiver,
you must:
Connect Pin-2-transmit (TX) of the MAIN port to the receive pin (RX) of the
separate GPS receiver or logging device.
Connect Pin-5-Common Ground of the MAIN port to the signal return or common
ground of the separate GPS receiver.
