Use a fine-point f

elt-tip pen to mar

k small lines

directly on the wing, noting the location of both wing bolt

plates

eposition the air scoop on the wing, then mar

the same lines on both sides of the air scoop

Cut the inside of the air scoop at the lines to

accommodate the wing bolt plates

.

6.
Use the same procedure to mar

the location of

the wing bolts on the air scoop

Using the mar

ks on

the scoop as a guide

, cut 1/2" [13mm] holes through

the bottom of the scoop f

or wing bolts

7.
Roughen the lip around the base of the scoop

so glue will adhere

.

een the wing and the fuselage

Glue the air scoop to the bottom of the wing with

xy mix

ed with microballoons

Unbolt the wing after the epo
