O FFICER M ODEL
This model has THREE hammer positions:
1. Fired position. Hammer at rest on the breech, toucing the firing pin.
Breech block cannot be opened (see figure 6).

2. Half cock position. Second “click” when pulling the hammer back.
Always use this position to open the breech (see picture 7).

3. Full cock position. Tobe used only when ready to dafely fire the
rifle. See picture 8.

LOADING YOUR RIFLE
WARNING: NEVER LOAD OR UNLOAD THIS FIREARM WITH THE HAMMER FULLY COCKED ,
ALWAYS PUT THE HAMMER AT HALF - COCK .
1. Point the muzzle downrange in a safe direction BEFORE attempting to load and fire the rifle.
2. Do not load the rifle until you are ready to shoot safely.
Before loading your rifle check the barrel for possible obstructions. To do this, first place the hammer in the
half-cock position (see picture 9).
3. Press the breech lever up (see picture 9) and continue pushing until the action is fully opened (see picture
10)
