Installing the battery
Place the battery in its slot by aligning the phone and
battery contacts, then press gently on the battery to
fit it into position.
Charging the battery
Your phone is powered by a rechargeable battery.
Connect the charger to a power outlet and the micro
UsB connector to the phone’s UsB port. Once the bat-
tery is fully charged, disconnect the charger.
Refer to the Safety Information section for more
details.
Note:
Only use batteries, chargers and phone acces-
sories that are approved by the manufacturer. Using
other accessories may harm or damage your mobile
phone!
Turning the phone on for the first time
Press the On-Off button for three seconds to turn your
phone on.
Once you have selected your preferred language, a
Connection Profile list will be displayed and you will
be prompted to select your sIM1 and/or sIM2 opera-
tor profile.
Once you have made your selection, the phone auto-
matically configures the GPRs, MMs, etc. services.
If your operator does not appear in the list, you must
configure the settings manually by referring to the
Mobile Internet section.
PIN
PIN : the PIN (Personal Identification Number) pro-
tects your sIM card against any unauthorised use.
If you have activated SIM Lock in the menu
security
configurations > sIM security > PIN Lock, you must
enter the correct PIN to unlock the sIM the next time
you turn on the phone. Your PIN is provided by your
phone operator.
Warning:
If the PIN is entered incorrectly three times,
the phone will be locked and can only be unlocked by
