Air teak from Safety Vialve Rjssibie defect in Safety Valve. Operate safely valve manualfy by pulling on ring. If

Knocking Noise

Defective Check Valve.

Remove and clean or replace.

Motor Wilt Not Rirt

Motor overload protection switch
has tripped.

Ljit motor cool off and overload switch will auto
rtailcally reset.

Tank pressure exceeds pressure
switch “cut-in" pressure.

Motor will start automatlc^ly when tank pressure

dh)p8 below ’cut-in" pressure of pressure switch.

Wrong gauge wire or length of
extension cord.

Check for proper gauge wire and cord iertgth,

Check Valve stuck open.

Remove and clean or replace.

Loose etectrical connections.

Check wiring connection inside pressure swilch
and terminal box area.

Possible defective capacitor;

Rsturn to Sears Service Center for inspection or

replacement If necessary.

Paint spray on internal motor
parts.

Have Checked at Sears Service Center Do not

operate the compressor in the paint spray area,
See fiammabie vapor warning on page 3.

Possible deieciivs motor.

Have checked at a local Sears Service Center.

F u s e blown, circuit breaker

necessary. Re-set circuit breaker. Do not use a

fuse or circuit breaker with higher rating than thai

2, Check for proper fuse: only “Fusslron“ type T
fuses ere acceptable.

3, Check for low voltage conditions and/or proper
extension cord.

4, Disconnect the other oiectical appliances from

circuit or operate ths compessor on its own branch
