1 . Hold saw firmly with the saw chain free to turn without making contact with any obiect.
2. Push saw away fmm you with your right hand while pulling the starter rape with your* 1 eft hand.
3 . Use less than the hiif extent of the starter n^e per puli.
4. Pull rope no more than 5^ times.
5. Reléase the trigger after engine starts afiowing engine to idle.

3 . Check the guide bar fw wear each time the chain is sharpened.

whichever is less. .
