Operation (continued)

Brake / Neutral Pedal

Press brake/neutral pedal (Fig. 6-1) to

apply brake and when starting engine. To

lock brake (when parked), press pedal and
lift parking brake lever to lock pedal down.

Speed Control

Speed control allows operator to maintain
a constant drive speed without contacting
travel pedal. When activated, speed
control sets travel pedal to desired

position.

To set: When tractor is moving at desired
speed, press "RESET' to activate speed
control (Fig. 6-1). This sets travel pedal.

To stop: Press brake pedal or turn speed

control switch oft.

To reset: To re-activate speed control,
press reset.

Power Steering

Power steering is controlled by hydraulic
system. No adjustment is necessary.

Auxiliary Hydraulic Connections

(Model GTX 20)

Connections for auxiliary hydraulics are on

front, right-side of frame.

To use, clean all dirt and debris from

around connections. Push lock collar (Fig.

6-3) back. Remove rubber plugs. Insert
hydraulic hose end.

When auxiliary connections are not in use,

keep rubber caps in place to prevent
debris from entering hydraulic system.

KEEP HYDRAULIC CONNECTIONS CLEAN.

Dirty hydraulic connections can
contaminate hydraulic fluid and damage
hydraulic components.

DIRTY HYDRAULIC CONNECTIONS CAN

CONTAMINATE THE HYDRAULIC FLUID

AND DAMAGE HYDRAULIC

COMPONENTS. KEEP RUBBER

PLUGS IN PLACE.

WARNING

HIGH PRESSURE HYDRAULIC OIL LEAKS

COULD PENETRATE SKIN. NEVER FEEL

FOR LEAKS.
