Converting to Side Discharge
•
Your mower has been shipped as a rrulcher. To
convert it to a side-discharge mower, lift the
mulching piug. Siide the two hooks on the side
discharge defiector under the hinge pin on the
mulching piug assembiy. Lower the mulching plug.
See Figure 10.
•
Do not remove the side mulching plug at any time,
even when you are not muiching.

Removing Grass Catcher
•
Lift the rear discharge door on the mower.
•
Lift the grass catcher up, out of the slots In the
handie bracket assemblies.
•
Reinstall the piastic rear baffle.
•
Release the rear discharge door.

WARNING:
Never operate the mower
uniess the hooks on the grass catcher are
.......... seated in the siots on the handle bracket
assemblies, and the rear discharge door rests
firmiy against the top of the grass catcher.
