GUARANTEE FOR UK SALES GUARANTEE FOR SALES IN THE EUROPEAN ECONOMIC AREA (EEA)
This equipm ent is guaranteed for tw o years from the date of purchase (parts and
labour only), provided that it w as originally purchased from an authorised dealer
under a consum er sale agreem ent. (The words "consum er sale" shall be
construed in accordance w ith Section 15 of the Supply O f G oods [Im plied Term s]
Act 1973).
The m anufacturer can accept no responsibility for defects arising from accident,
m isuse, abuse, wear and tear, neglect or through unauthorised adjustm ent
and/or repair, neither can they accept responsibility for dam age or loss occurring
during transit to or from the person claim ing under this guarantee.
This guarantee is applicable w ithin the UK only. It is transferable to subsequent
purchasers, but the liability of the m anufacturer is lim ited to the cost of repair of
the defective parts and under no circum stances extends to consequential loss
or dam age.
CLAIMS UNDER THIS GUARANTEE
This unit is covered by a E uropean Econom ic A rea w arranty, provided to you
under the term s of Article 85 of the Treaty of Rom e 1957.
This entitles you to have the unit repaired free of charge, during the first tw o years
after purchase, at any authorised Arcam distributor within the EE A, provided that
it w as purchased from an authorised AR CA M dealer or distributor within the EE A.
The m anufacturer can accept no responsibility for defects arising from accident,

repair, neither can they accept responsibility for dam age or loss occurring during
transit to or from the person claim ing under this guarantee.
C ountries of the E uropean Econom ic Area are: Austria, Belgium , D enm ark, E ire,
Finland, France, G reece, G erm any, G reat B ritain, H olland, Iceland. Italy,
Lichtenstein, Luxem bourg, N onw ay, Portugal, Spain, Sw itzerland and Sw eden.
This includes the C anary Islands, the C hannel Islands, the Isle of M an, C orsica
and Sardinia.
This equipm ent should be packed in the original packing and returned to the
dealer from w hom it w as purchased, or failing this, directly to A rcam . It should
be sent carriage prepaid by a reputable carrier - N O T by post. No responsiblity
can be accepted for the unit w hilst in transit to the factory, or an agent, and
custom ers are therefore advised to insure the unit against loss or dam age w hilst
in transit.
If the original packing is not available, replacem ent packing can be purchased
from A rcam .

You should state clearly your nam e and address, the date and place of purchase
together w ith a brief description of the fault.
In the event of equipm ent being returned w hich, after having been tested, is
found to com ply w ith the published specification, the m anufacturer reserves the
right to charge a reasonable fee for testing the equipm ent and for the return
carriage.

This w arranty rem ains in force for tw o years from the date of purchase as long
as the unit rem ains in free circulation. U nits exported from the E EA and
subsequently re-im ported are not subject to this warranty.
