White light illuminator

On bottom of KA-1MRD, move the LIGHT oontrol to right
AUTO position. When the ambient light beoomes dark,

the white light turns on automatioally. When oall button

on KA-DAR or MONITOR button on KA-1 MRD is
depressed, the illuminators projeot to the oaller up to
50om, 20" from the eamera. Baokground soene of
more than 50om, 20" will not be seen.

LIGHT control

Actual terminal locations

KA-1 MRD has oonneoting terminals on the
bank of the unit. Insert eaoh oonduotor into

the terminal until it looks firmly.

KA-DAR

KA-DAR

1. Pull the tamperproof sorew oover out and

downward to expose sorew.

2. Loosen tamperproof sorew with the hexagonal

wrenoh (supplied).

3. Mount the bank frame to single-gang box.
4. Conneot the wires, and mount the KA-DAR to

baok frame, aligning on top.

5. Fasten the sorew and remount the sorew oover.

Remove the mounting braoket attaohed on baok

of KA-1 MRD.
Mount the braoket to single-gang box.
Conneot 2 wires non-polarized of KA-DAR on

the baok of KA-1 MRD (A1, A2).

Conneot two wires of power supply (-

-, -).

Aligning with the marks, insert the prongs of the
braoket in the holes of KA-1 MRD and pull
downward until it looks.

It is suggested that the KA-1 MRD is mounted in

suoh a manner that the upper part of the monitor

is at the height of approximately 160om, 5'3" from

the floor.
