1. Ensure all controls are in neutral and parking brake is engaged.
2. Turn key to on position.
3. Move throttle switch to center position.
4. Choke engine, if necessary.
5. Pull rope or turn ignition switch to start position and release when engine starts.
R230/R300
1. Ensure all controls are in neutral and parking brake is engaged.
2. Move throttle to half open.
3. Choke engine, if necessary.
4. Turn ignition switch to start position and release when engine starts. See “Ignition switch” on page 30.
EMERGENCY SHUTDOWN: Release all controls (including cruise control pedal) and turn ignition
switch to OFF
