Placement Options For Invisa ® HTR 7000 FocusField ™ In-Ceiling Speakers
GoldenEar Technology’s HTR 7000 FocusField ™ in-ceiling speakers are designed for optimum performance
in rooms with a 7'–10' (2m – 3m) high ceiling, although good performance is certainly possible outside of
this range. Their unique design and construction allows them to “focus” the sound toward a specifi c area
in much the same way we focus a fl oodlight to fl ood an area with light. For overall clarity and balanced
bass performance, speakers should be mounted in the ceiling 12" (30 cm) or more from the walls.
NOTE: Focusing the sound should be done after connecting the speaker but before fi nal tightening of the lock
arms. See “Fine Tuning the FocusField Speakers,” below.

Follow the general guidelines for speaker placement provided on page four and fi ve, keeping in mind the
distance from the front speakers to your primary listening area should optimally be between 8' to 20', as shown,
with the driver array aimed toward the center of the listening area.
