Wound Modules:
Wounds are designed with a Velcro

® attachment

system for easy application and removal from victim
or manikin. In addition to the wound modules, plastic
blood splats have been provided to add realism to the
scenario and to allow the student to estimate the
amount of blood loss. Liquid stage blood of both thick
and thin concentration has also been included if more
blood simulation is desired.

Distended Jugular Vein:
The distended jugular module is designed to be used
in conjunction with pneumothorax injury.

Arm and Leg Gunshot Wounds:
The arm and leg gunshot wounds are designed to be
wrapped around extremity so entry and exit wounds
are exposed.

Care and Maintenance:

1. Clean with mild soap and water; do not submerse

modules in cleaning fluids or water. Make-up is
removed easily with soap and water.

2. Use only on clean surface. Avoid felt tipped

markers, ink pens, acetone, iodine or other
staining products and avoid placing the manikin on
newsprint or inked lines of any kind.

3. To ensure longevity, each module should be

cleaned after each training session and a general
inspection should be conducted regularly. Store
each module in a separate bag.

4. Modules and all other parts should be drained and

air-dried thoroughly before storage and disinfected
when needed.

5. Articulating parts will benefit from a light

application of talcum powder prior to training
sessions.

6. Store properly between teaching sessions.
