License Server installation
Start by installing the Laerdal License Server software. The
detailed information can be found in the License Server
Administrators Guide.
Licenses
HeartCode ACLS System version needs licenses for users to be
able to use the product. The product shipment should contain one
or two license keys depending on which setup was purchased.
Full system purchases would include one key for HeartCode
ACLS G2010 Part 1 (Cognitive) and one key for HeartCode
ACLS G2010 Parts 2 and 3 (Skills Practice and Testing). To enter
licenses, refer to the section below titled “Installing licenses”.
It is important that all the keys are entered into the Laerdal
License Server, since each key opens up specific functionality in
the HeartCode ACLS program.
HeartCode ACLS server (including Part 1)
installation
This server must always be installed. It includes the Part 1
Cognitive content. It also serves the Parts 2 and 3 Skills Practice
and Testing portion, but these must be installed separately. See
“HeartCode ACLS Skills Practice and Testing (Parts 2 and 3)
installation” section below for more information.
It is strongly recommended that HeartCode ACLS is installed on
the same server as the Laerdal License Server software.
