Read the entire instruction manual before beginning installation. Some stock parts will
be used in reassembly.
When referencing the side of the vehicle, the driver side of the vehicle is considered the
left side and the passenger side of the vehicle is considered the right side of the vehicle.
Multiple vehicles may be used for these installation instructions; however, the process
remains the same for these applications.
The LPE diagnostic port cover is designed to warn shops and service areas not to
recalibrate the vehicle. The diagnostic port cover lets other shops know that there is
a custom calibration in the vehicle and that the ECM/PCM should not be recalibrated
back to stock. In the event that your ECM/PCM does get recalibrated with an incorrect
calibration, contact LPE at 260-724-2552.
