1. Place the passenger side and driver
side bolt template into position. The optional
installation templates will line up with the
curvature of the bottom of the body as indicated.
NOTE: These illustrations are shown with the
bumper off of the vehicle for reference purposes
only. This install is to be done with bumper still
installed on the vehicle. This template is not
included in the kit but it gives you a good idea
of the positioning of the holes that need to be
drilled.
2. Drill out the holes using a drill and a 0.25”
drill bit. Using LPE chin spoiler is very helpful
when locating where the drill holes need to be
located in order to mount the chin spoiler.
3. Install the chin spoiler using the supplied
M6 x 1 mm nuts. There are six (6) mounting bolts
built into the chin spoiler that the nuts will install
onto.
4. You will need to peel back the wheel well
lining in order to reach the 10 mm nuts which will
need to be tightened evenly. There are six (6),
three (3) on each side of the bumper.
WARNING: Do not overtighten the nuts on the
front chin spoiler bolts.
