Install the LPE high flow air intake tube using the
largest hose clamp on the throttle body end and the
remaining smaller hose clamp on the MAF sensor end.
Tighten the hose clamps on either end, but do not
overtighten.
Remove the air filter from its packaging. This filter
comes pre-oiled and is ready to be installed.
NOTE: Inspect inside of filter for any debris prior to
installing in the vehicle. Be very careful during the
remainder of the installation process to not let any dirt
or objects fall into the filter.
Locate the 7/16” hole punched in the block rubber
section of your air filter. Push the air temperature
sensor through this hole, make sure it seats flush to the
surface. Insert the air filter nose first behind the air wall
previously installed. The air temperature sensor should
be towards the rear of the car. Plug the connector into
the air temperature sensor. After passing the filter all
the way into the compartment, connect the round end
of the filter to the hose bolted to the air wall. The hose
clamp on the end of the filter might need to be loosened
in order for the filter end to fit the tube. Tighten the
filter to secure the fit.
