oSMo™ Elite is one of the lightest waterproof/
breathable tent fabrics on the market. The feath-
erweight high tenacity nylon ripstop base fabric is
coated with a proprietary w/b layer that enables
water vapor to be transported out at an incredible
rate. NEMO’s ultralight 10D fabric is the lightest wo-
ven waterproof/breathable fabric currently used in
the tent industry. With unprecedented tear strength
and weatherproofness for its weight class, this 10D
high tenacity PU coated nylon ripstop is one of the
most advanced textiles in the market.
Swallowtail patterning at the foot end allows you
to tension the bivy over your sleeping bag with no
extra guy lines or stakes.
An ultralight dry bag style stuff sack protects
your tent from taking on water weight if stowed in
your backpack while hiking in the rain, or a kayak
hull when you roll your boat. Alternatively, if you
have to pack your tent wet, it will help keep the rest
of the gear in your pack dry.
