Lift the side tabs (Fig. b) to aid the procedure.

Next lift the backrest to release the tab at the

head end (Fig. c).

36•Lower the entire structure and the padding of

the Skate bassinet unit (Fig.a).

Remove the casing sections on both sides,

lifting them outwards from the inside (Fig.b).

37•Slip off the fabric covering in the order shown

in the figure, starting from the side of the

backrest (first from one corner, then from the

other) to aid the procedure (Fig.c).

Finally, slip the fabric covering off the feet on

the bottom of the Skate seat (Fig.d).

How to replace the covers of

the SKATE BASSINET UNIT

PLEASE NOTE: The head end of the Skate

fabric covering can be identified by the slot in

the material for the backrest adjuster strap.

38•Fit the padding, attaching it to the feet on

the bottom of the Skate bassinet unit, then

the side of the feet (one corner at a time) and

next the side fasteners, making quite sure

that they remain on the outside (Fig.a).

Fit the fabric covering on the upper part

(backrest side) one corner at a time.

Lift the backrest and thread the backrest

adjuster strap from the inside to the outside

of the Skate bassinet unit (Fig.b).

Follow the instructions in points 9, 10 and 11.

Put the two casing sections in place (Fig.c).

the SKATE SEAT

Remove the hood, cover and front bar if they

are attached.

Open the two Velcro fastenings placed under

the footrest and pull out the straps (Fig. a).

Unfasten the side buttons (Fig. b).

Slide the fabric covering out from inside the

casing sections (Fig. c).

Unfasten the buttons on the side of the

chassis (Fig. d).

40•Pull the leg divider strap of the harness out

from under the seat.

Release the belt behind the backrest and

then pull out the safety harness straps from

the front (Fig. a).

Use a crosshead screwdriver to unscrew the

strap from the Skate seat on one side only,

keeping a finger under the nut (Fig. b).

41•Remove the fabric covering from the backrest

adjustment lever and pull the fabric covering

off upwards near the backrest.

How to replace the covers of the SKATE SEAT

42•Fit the fabric covering onto the frame from

the upper part of the backrest (Fig. a),

keeping the handle on the outside.

• Thread the lower leg divider strap through

under the seat, leaving the higher leg divider

strap above the fabric covering (Fig. b).

• Insert the waist strap into the hole on the

Skate seat (Fig. c) and secure the strap with a

crosshead screwdriver (Fig. d).

43•Put the safety harness at the required height

(Fig. a) by threading the straps through the

slots in the fabric covering.

PLEASE NOTE: Place the buckles underneath

the support straps behind the backrest (Fig. b).

44•Fit the fabric covering onto the casing

sections, first on the upper part and then

on the lower part, slightly lifting the casing

sections to attach it properly (Fig. a).

• Fasten the fabric covering’s two buttons to the

frame, ensuring that the Skate’s side attachments

remain on the outside (Fig.b).

Fasten the straps and stick the Velcro fastenings

to the footrest (Fig. c).

SERIAL NUMBERS

45•The following information can be found on the

Skate chassis (Fig. a), Skate bassinet unit (Fig. b)

and Skate seat (Fig. c): product name, production

date and serial number. This information is

required in the event of a complaint.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

• This item requires a small amount of cleaning.

Cleaning and maintenance must only be

carried out by adults.

• Keep all moving parts clean and if necessary

lubricate them with light oil, in line with the

instructions given in point 47.

• Dry the metal parts of the product to prevent rust.

• Clean the plastic parts periodically with a

damp cloth. Do not use solvents or similar

substances.

• Protect this item from the elements: water,

rain and snow. Continual, extended exposure

to the sun may cause colour changes in many

materials.

• Store this item in a dry place.

47•A - Keep clean and free of dust and stones.

B - Keep clean and free of dust and stones.

Periodically lubricate in the point shown.

C - Keep clean and free of dust and stones.

DO NOT lubricate.

• For the upkeep of the fabric parts: brush

them to remove dust and hand wash them

at a maximum temperature of 30°C; do not

wring; do not use chlorine bleach; do not

iron; do not dry clean; do not apply solvent-
