BEFORE USING
1. This watch is powered by light, please expose the
watch to bright light to charge
Its secondary battery before using it.
A secondary battery is used in this watch to store
electrical energy. Once fully charged, the watch will
continue to run about 1 year with out further charging.
2. How to use this watch properly
For comfortable use of this watch, take care to keep it
sufficiently recharged.
LOW BATTERY WARNING
If "LOW BAT." is appeared on display, it notifies the user
that the watch is not sufficiently charged. When this
occurs, place the watch in light to completely recharge the
solar cell.
Even then, the time runs accurately.
* The alarm does not ring even if it is set.
* If the stop watch is being used, measurement stops and
it is reset.
* EL light does not turn on.
NOTES ON USE
Please take care to charge your watch during use.
Please note that if you wear long sleeves, the watch can
easily become insufficiently charged because it is hidden
and not exposed to light.
* When you take off the watch, try to place it in as bright a
place as possible.
CAUTION
Never use another battery apart from the secondary
battery used in this watch.
In case a different kind of battery such as a lithium battery
is used by some chance, there is a danger that the watch
will be overcharged to burst, causing damage to the
watch and even to the human body.
AVANT L’EMPLOI
1. Cette montre est alimentée par la lumière; exposez-la à
une forte lumière pour charger sa pile secondaire avant
l’emploi.
Une pile secondaire est utilisée dans cette montre pour
stocker l’énergie électrique. Une fois entièrement
chargée, la montre continuera à fonctionner environ 1
(un) an sans charge complémentaire.
2. Comment utiliser cette montre correctement
Pour l’emploi sans inquiétude de cette montre,
maintenez-la suffisamment rechargée.
AVERTISSEMENT DE PILE AFFAIBLIE
L’apparition de “LOW BAT.” dans l’affichage indique à
l’utilisateur que la charge de la pile est insuffisante. Dans
ce cas, exposez la montre à la lumière pour recharger
entièrement sa cellule solaire.
Même alors, l’heure progresse correctement.
* L’alarme ne retentit pas même si elle est réglée.
* Si le chronomètre est utilisé, la mesure s’arrête et il est
remis à zéro.
* L’éclairage EL ne s’allume pas.
REMARQUES SUR LE FONCTIONNEMENT
Chargez votre montre pendant l’emploi.
Notez que si vous portez des manches longues, la charge
de la montre peut facilement devenir insuffisante parce
qu’elle est cachée et non exposée à la lumière.
* Quand vous retirez la montre, essayez de la placer à un
endroit aussi éclairé que possible.
PRECAUTION
N’utilisez jamais une pile autre que la pile secondaire
utilisée dans cette montre.
Si une pile de type différent, une pile au lithium par
exemple, est utilisée, la montre risque d’être surchargée
et d’éclater, endommageant la montre et provoquant
même des blessures.

Para utilizar cómodamente este reloj, manténgalo
suficientemente cargado.
ADVERTENCIA DE CARGA INSUFICIENTE DE LA BATERÍA
Si en el visualizador aparece "LOW BAT.", significará que
la batería no está suficientemente cargada. Cuando
suceda esto, coloque el reloj a la luz para recargar
completamente la batería con la célula solar.
Incluso durante la recarga, el reloj indicará correctamente
la hora.
* La alarma no sonará aunque haya sido programada.
* Si está utilizando la función de cronómetro, la medición
se parará y repondrá a cero.
* El visualizador EL (electroluminiscente) no se iluminará.
NOTAS SOBRE LA UTILIZACIÓN
Cargue el reloj mientras lo utilice.
Tenga en cuenta que si se viste con ropa de mangas
largas, el reloj puede no cargarse suficientemente debido
a quedar oculto a la luz.
* Cuando se quite el reloj, trate de colocarlo en un lugar lo
más brillante posible.
PRECAUCIÓN
No utilice en este reloj más que la batería secundaria del
mismo.
Si utilizase una batería de litio, por ejemplo, existiría el
riesgo de sobrecarga, lo que podría dañar el reloj e
incluso causar quemaduras al cuerpo humano.
VOR GEBRAUCH
1. Diese Uhr wird mit Lichtenergie betrieben und ist daher
vor Gebrauch zum Aufladen ihres Akkus hellem Licht
auszusetzen.
Zum Speichern der so erzeugten elektrischen Energie
dient ein Akku in der Uhr. Nach einer Vollaufladung des
Akkus läuft die Uhr ununterbrochen für die Dauer von
etwa einem Jahr ohne weiteren Ladevorgang.
2. Einwandfreier Gebrauch dieser Uhr
Für problemlosen Gebrauch dieser Uhr ist unbedingt
stets auf ausreichende Aufladung zu achten.
BATTERIEWARNFUNKTION
Die Meldung "LOW BAT." auf dem Display weist den
Benutzer darauf hin, dass der Uhrakku nicht ausreichend
geladen ist. In solch einem Fall legen Sie die Uhr ins Licht,
damit sich der Akku über die Solarzelle wieder aufladen kann.
Aber auch dann erfolgt genaue Zeitanzeige.
* Der Alarmsummer ertönt nicht, auch wenn der Alarm
eingestellt ist.
* Bei Nutzung der Stoppuhrfunktion setzt die Zeitmessung
aus und wird rückgesetzt.
* Die EL-Beleuchtung wird nicht eingeschaltet.
HINWEISE ZUM GEBRAUCH
Sorgen Sie bitte dafür, dass ihre Uhr beim Gebrauch stets
aufgeladen wird.
Bei Kleidung mit langen Ärmeln wird die Uhr u. U. leicht
nur unzureichend geladen, weil sie unter der Kleidung
versteckt und nicht dem Licht ausgesetzt ist.
* Wird die Uhr abgenommen, so legen Sie sie bitte an
einem möglichst hellen Ort ab.
ACHTUNG
Verwenden Sie keinesfalls eine andere Batterie als den
mitgelieferten Uhrakku.
Bei versehentlicher Verwendung einer andersartigen
Batterie (z.B. Lithium-Zelle) besteht die Gefahr, dass die
Uhr wegen Überladung birst oder sogar der Benutzer
verletzt wird.

* The charging time is the time when the watch is continuously exposed to radiation.
